What is Cyber Awareness Day?
The Ministry of Home Affairs is implementing a scheme named “Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center (I4C)” to tackle cyber crimes in a coordinated and comprehensive manner. All Schools/Colleges/Universities/Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) propose to observe “Cyber Awareness Day” on the first Wednesday of every month to create awareness among the students, teachers and parents of schools and colleges . Including district magistrates, police officers, education department officials etc. in municipalities.
About topic:
For the month of June, 2022 CIET-NCERT has planned sessions on “Financial Security in Cyberspace” in association with Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA), CDAC, Hyderabad. A Live Interaction will be conducted on “Cyber Awareness Day” on 1st June, 2022, followed by next Friday (i.e. 3/06/2022, 10/06/2022 & 17/ 3 on the given topic) Technical sessions will be conducted. 06/2022). At the end of the session series, a comprehensive quiz based on all the sessions held in the month of June, 2022 will be launched on Cyber Security and Security.

- Understanding the term ‘financial security’.
- Understanding financial security and cyber hygiene practices for students and teachers.
- Understanding and coping with Fintech risks.
- Understanding the impact of online payments for teachers, parents and students.
- Learning how to deal with cyber crimes related to digital financial fraud.

step 2:Watch Live Training Sessions: The participants have to participate in the panel discussion, which will be live-streamed on the official YouTube channel of NCERT
step 3: Participation in Post-Session Activity and Certification: The post-sessional quiz will be conducted on the basis of the 4 sessions listed in the schedule, the link of the quiz will be released at the end of the fourth session on June 17, 2022. To get the certificate, participate and get 50% and above marks. Participants are allowed 3 attempts at the quiz.
